Judges, Prosecutors undergo Cybercrime training

The Ministry of Communications in collaboration with the Council of Europe through the Global Action on Cybercrime Extended (GLACY+) Project, Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Commission and the National Cyber Security Secretariat has organised a four-day (Dec. 5 – Dec. 8, 2017) training programme on cybercrime and electronic evidence for Judges, Magistrates and Prosecutors in Accra.
The programme dubbed “Introductory Judicial Training of Trainers course on Cybercrime and Electronic Evidence” was structured as an introductory training of trainers course (ToT) and delivered by Ghanaian officials from judicial authorities, prosecution service and law enforcement agencies, who will share the knowledge and expertise with representatives from the judicial and prosecution services of the other Anglophone countries of the ECOWAS Region.
The training was attended by representatives from Ghana, Nigeria, Liberia, Sierra Leone and the Gambia.
